WITH newly laid tarmac adjacent to its green, there has never been a better time to join Kingsteignton Bowling Club.

The club opened its gates in 1985 and is set in a peaceful area, with the backdrop of the local church, St Michael’s, in the old village of Kingsteignton.

A recent grant from Kingsteignton Town Council allowed the club to lay tarmac around the perimeter of their building, which can be seen in the photo to the right.

The club welcome visitors, such as Kingsteignton mayor, Cllr Ron Peart, who will often present trophies, to come and have a go at bowling or join the club.
