A HAIRDRESSER from Teignbridge with nearly 30 years of experience has proved hersef a cut above the rest as she blew away the competition at an industry award ceremony.
Lisa Coxall, who heads up ‘Hairdressing by Lisa’ from her home in Newton Abbot, attended the English Hair and Beauty Awards, where she won ‘Stylist of the Year’.
Having trained in the first instance with the Toni & Guy Academy, Lisa, who has 28 years of experience in the industry, much of which was spent as manager at various hair salons, travelled to the Leonardo Royal Grand Harbour Hotel, in Southampton, to collect the award.
Lisa’s skill, prior experience, charitable work and her previous accolades all contributed to her winning at the English Hair and Beauty Awards, which was presented by Hair Evolution.
‘I felt totally overwhelmed and extremely thankful to my clients who nominated me,’ Lisa said.
‘It is an amazing feeling and it was a special evening that I will never forget,’ she added.
At Lisa’s home salon, ‘Hairdressing by Lisa Vegan Home Hair Salon’, prospective clients can enjoy a private, one-to-one experience with luxury, vegan products, which are paraben and sulphate-free, and in recycled plastic packaging,
Lisa offers free hair cuts to the homeless and, as well as free haircare for clients suffering with hair loss.
