The Old Workshop tap house bar at Higher Humber Farm near Bishopsteignton is to reopen at the end of the month under the new name of The Grumpy Farmer.

Located in an old tractor barn, the pub, which is next to the former Red Rock microbrewery site, will reopen at 5pm on Friday , April 26. The owners say the pub will offer a new range of food and drink options served from a new bar and cellar system.

Last month, a planning application was submitted for the building that used to house the Red Rock microbrewery at Higher Humber Farm to become an events venue for weddings and funerals. The owners hope the venue will complement the existing Humber Barn, which is used for weddings, wakes, parties and local community events.

The Red Rock Brewery relocated from its Higher Humber Farm site to Burlescombe, near Tiverton last year.
