CAPITAL grants of up to £5,000 are available to theatres that are operated by registered charities and not-for-profit groups in Teignbridge.

The grants, which are being made available by the Theatres Trust, are for essential capital works that will enable them to be more accessible, viable and able to thrive.

The next deadline for applications is midday on Friday, June 7.

Theatres Protection Fund has supported 325 projects across the UK since 2012, and has made awards totalling £1.9m.
