GO Outdoors is coming to Newton Abbot.

The store will open in place of the town’s Millets.

This is a part of county-wide conversion of Millets stores to GO Outdoors outlets.

The outdoor retailer chain is expected to open its new Newton Abbot store in January 2025.

Lee Bagnall, CEO of JD Outdoors said: ‘With the best outdoor brands we are confident this conversion will offer a rewarding shopping experience for outdoor enthusiasts in Devon.

‘The new GO Express store will also allow shoppers to benefit from our GO Outdoors loyalty programme, which provides lower prices available for members.

Millets will still be available online, the Mid-Devon Advertiser understands.
