SOMETHING for everyone is on offer at an event int Abbotskerswell  next weekend.

St Mary’s Church  in the village will be playing host to Creation Creativity Community from 10am to 4pm on both Saturday June 29 and Sunday 30.

There will be a flower festival in the church with music and bell ringing, plus exhibitions from creative groups in the village taking place in the Parish Rooms. Members of Abbotskerswell Repair Workshop will be on hand to fix small household items and Abbwild will be in the churchyard  a promoting care for wildlife and increasing the diversity of wildlife in the village.

South Devon Model Railway Society will be displaying in the Church House, which is also the venue for afternoon teas between 1.30 and 4pm each day.

The event culminates with Songs of Praise in the church at 4.30pm on the Sunday 

 It’s free admission but donations for church restoration funds will be most welcome.
