A GARDEN party and picnic in celebration of His Majesty, King Charles III's Coronation is in the works in Teign Village.

From 3pm onwards on Sunday, May 7, people will be gathering at Teign Village Football Field for an afternoon of celebration.

There is to be live music, a Coronation-themed 'Bake Off', egg and spoon races, tombola, food and drinks and much more besides.

It should be mentioned that, the event, which is being sponsored by Hennock Parish Council and Teign Village Allotment Association, will not be dog-friendly.
