ORGANISERS of the returning Snooky Fest event in Dawlish say they are ‘overwhelmed’ by the support for the festival.

Snooky Fest was back at Warren Farm after several years’ absence.

It was cancelled for three years running, partly due to Covid-restrictions.

But this weekend saw the return of the family-friendly music event and its success was such that it Snooky Fest 2024 is already confirmed and tickets have gone on sale.

Festival goers this year were treated to a host of musical treats including the Andy Quick Band, Ollie Stephens, Joyride, Dave Can’t Dance and headliners Eventine.

Founder and one of the organisers Caz Steffens thanked all those who attended and supported the festival.

She said: ‘It truly was a great day and I so hope everyone enjoyed it

‘I feel completely overwhelmed and emotional with gratitude to everyone who believed in us.

‘Bringing the community of Dawlish together again has been wonderful

‘The overwhelming amount of support from every single person that has popped up to help, say hello, and give hugs has truly been humbling and I’m grateful to each and everyone of you.

‘But then this is Dawlish and as always the community come together to help each other, and make truly magical moments happen.’

The day long festival features a host of live music, family activities and food.

It is run in aid of The Snooky Trust, a charity set up by Caz in memory of her brother Chris ‘Snooky’ Snook, which raises money to help young adults, aged 18 to 40, suffering physical disability.

Headliners for the July 13 2024 Snooky Fest will be Joey The Lips.
