A WIDE range of culinary delights was on offer at the Eat: Festival in Dawlish this week.

Supported by Dawlish Council, the festival saw more than 60 of the region’s finest food and drink producers gather together for a gastronomical extravaganza on the Lawn.

Sarah Milner Simonds, founder and director at Eat: Festivals, said: ‘This was our first time in Dawlish but we’ve run similar events for the last ten years across the South West, so we were very pleased to be invited here.

‘We wanted to create an event that showcases the town and encourages people to explore local businesses.

‘We were pleased with the turnout, and it was lovely to hear the many visitors’ positive comments.’
