THE weekend of June 24 to 25 will see Teignmouth welcome a host of folk dancers, musicians and singers for its annual folk festival.
This year’s event, celebrating its 23rd year, will see more than 25 Morris dance sides dancing around the town together with free concerts featuring Celtic Dawn and Queen Anne’s Revenge in the Triangle.
Local shanty crew Bow Movement will be shivering their timbers around town on Sunday afternoon.
Informal song and music sessions will be held at The Brass, Hollands Road,on Saturday and Sunday hosted by local performers Amanda Diamond & Eddie Richards.
All events are free but donations during the weekend will be gratefully appreciated.
