A COUNTRY lane has been left impassable after an incident of fly-tipping.

Described as ‘awful’ and a ‘disgrace’ by a concerned resident, the fly-tipping along Old Walls Hill has left the road impassable to vehicles.

The rubbish is thought to have been dumped on the road between Bishopsteignton and Teignmouth on Monday evening [January 6].

And this is not the first incidence of fly-tipping in the area, the Mid-Devon Advertiser understands.

An incident of fly-tipping in December 2024 saw the road closed for a week.

The Mid-Devon Advertiser has contacted Teignbridge District Council to clarify the situation.
