A TEIGNBRIDGE fire crew’s charity car wash raised more than £1,000.

The great and the good from Bovey Tracey Fire Station held their annual car wash in aid of the Fire Fighters Charity on Saturday, May 25.

‘A massive thanks to our generous community for supporting our car wash’ a spokesperson for the station said.

‘We were able to raise a grand total of £1552.60!’ the spokesperson added.

Thanks were given to several local businesses, Ryders Bakery, Co-Op and Dominos, for supplying the crew with sustenance throughout the day.
