A BUCKFASTLEIGH firefighter has passed his incident command qualification .

Following a weeks intensive training, qualifying exam and practical assessment, firefighter Joe Cartwright is now able to lead a team and manage resources at operational incidents.

Buckfastleigh Fire Station, via its Facebook page, said: 'Well done Joe a big step in your fire service career and one we will all benefit from.'
