AFTER a week of training Ashburton firefighter Buster Lane has passed his LGV driving test.

He will now go on to complete 250 miles of normal road driving in various weather conditions, night and day before returning for two more weeks of training for his blue light (EFAD) course.

He is stood in front of Ashburton’s old MRP appliance which it happened, by pure coincidence, was the training vehicle for the week.
