PARISHIONERS from Hennock and further afield have a handful of festive-themed events on offer in the lead up to Christmas Day.

On Friday, December 9, Christmas family prize bingo returns to Chudleigh Knighton Village Hall.

Doors open at 7pm, with eyes going down at 7.30pm.

Refreshments and a raffle will be available - those attending are free to bring their own bottle should they wish.

A chance to come together with other members of the local community is afoot as ‘Carols around the Village Hall Christmas Tree’ will take place at 6pm in the village hal; on Saturday, December 24.

This will be followed by mulled wine, hot chocolate and mince pies.
