'FABULOUS' is how a parish council has described the response to its special Coronation project.

Hennock Parish Council plans to decorate its settlements with Coronation-themed lamp post signs.

Many individuals and businesses alike have stepped forward to sponsor a sign, which are made by veterans employed through the Royal British Legion Industries' social enterprise project - Britain's Bravest Manufacturing Company.

And there is still time to sponsor a sign, which costs £5.

A spokesman for Hennock Parish Council said: 'A fabulous response to our Coronation Lamp Post Project from local businesses, suppliers and residents.

'We just need a few more sponsors and we will be able to purchase 50 signs!

'Thank you.'
