VISITORS to Dartmoor are invited to travel back in time tomorrow to see what living there has been like for the past 4,000 years.
Discover the Dartmoor Story: The Festival of Dartmoor Through the Ages takes place at Postbridge, opposite the park’s visitor centre, from 10.30am to 4.30pm.
The family-friendly event will feature Bronze Age re-enactors, medieval musicians and lots of other activities to explore the past.
There’ll be guided walks, weaving, hunting for buried treasure with an archaeologist and medieval tales with Rattus the storyteller.
The event is organised by Dartmoor National Park Authority and the Moor Than Meets The Eye Landscape Partnership.
