TRAVELLERS staying at Newton Abbot’s Osborne Park have been issued with an eviction notice.

On their Facebook page the town’s police confirmed action was being taken to remove them.

Newton Abbot Police said: ‘We are aware of the unauthorised encampment at Osborne Park that arrived last night.

‘The council are also fully aware and are the lead agency to remove them.

‘We will fully support them with the eviction process

‘This morning Teignbridge Council have already served them with an official notice and if necessary they will take legal action.’
