Conkers can be found all over Devon this time of year! The season is short and well-worth enjoying. Here are five fun craft ideas to try with conkers.

1. Conker Animals:

Use small conkers as the bodies and larger conkers as the heads to create cute animal figures. Add some googly eyes, pipe cleaners for legs, and felt for ears to bring your conker animals to life.

2. Conker Jewelry:

Drill a hole through a conker and thread it onto a string to make a natural and unique necklace or bracelet. You can also paint or decorate the conkers before turning them into jewelry.

3. Conker Spiderwebs:

Use toothpicks to attach conkers together in a circular shape, then wrap string around them to create intricate spiderweb decorations. These can be hung up as autumnal decorations.

4. Conker Painting:

Cut a conker in half and use it as a stamp to create interesting patterns and shapes on paper or fabric. Dip the flat surface of the conker halves into paint and press them onto your chosen surface.
