ONE of Britain’s biggest Meat Loaf tribute acts makes a welcome return to  Torquay’s Babbacombe Theatre next month.

Meat Loud, billed as the UK’s premier homage band, is currently on a UK-wide tour and is due to return to the cliff-top venue  for a one night only show on  September 6 .

The first visit back in 2022 proved to be a massive hit with the audience and its likely this show will again bring the house down.

Meat Loaf’s iconic Bat Out of Hell trilogy was one of the best-selling albums in history and earned him a Grammy Award.

Lead vocalist Andy Plimmer, loves to celebrate the music of the late great Meat Loaf and stated in an interview to Metro.co.uk after the passing of the legendary rock star: ‘The Music was, still is, and will be enjoyed for many years to come.’

Superfan Andy set up the tribute act in 2015, and his show delivers with a rich blend of backing vocals, driving piano, out of this world guitar playing, a rocking rhythm section and the outstanding vocal talents of Sally Rivers and of course Andy as Meat Loud himself.

Presenting several Meat Loaf's greatest hits mixed in with songs by Jim Steinman for Bonnie Tyler, plus songs by Cher, Meat Loud creates an incredible experience for all Meat Loaf fans.

Tickets for the 7.30pm  gig can be booked online at www.babbacombe-theatre.com or through the box office on  01803 328385
