AN ORIGINAL  story told entirely through dance visits Exeter’s Northcott Theatre later this month. 

Following the national success of its debut feature, Growing Pains, Project Dance Company has fast become recognised as a trailblazing producer of dance narrative theatre.

Its new production. All That Matters tells a palpably emotive story that celebrates the joy of memory and illustrates the heartache of loss. 

Uniquely uplifting, the production promises to remind audiences of all ages to embrace life, and savour every moment with those that they love.

Established in 2020, the Project Dance Company has fast become recognised for its ground-breaking original workstrailblazing creativity and unique ability to transcend understanding of what a dance company can achieve.

Across both the youth and professional sectors, the Project Dance Company creates poignantsocially motivatednew stories which aim to connect with everyone.

The Founder and Director of Project Dance is James Bamford . 

A producer, creative, teacher and performer with a passion for freedom of expression and storytelling through dance, James established the organisation in 2018 when he was 14 with the ambition of making the arts more accessible. 

With Project Dance, James has curated all of the company’s work since its conception.

Creative highlights for him include writing the company’s first full length original production, Growing Pains, producing an array of dance films, fringe performances and charity events and designing programmes of community engagement activities.

The production will be performed at the Northcott Theatre on August 29.
