The South Devon Railway’s Family Fun Weekend over the early May bank holiday, 29th April – 1st May, is packed with activities for the whole family.

Steam trains run between Buckfastleigh and Totnes throughout each day with entry to the Totnes Rare Breeds Farm and Dartmoor Otters & Buckfast Butterflies at no extra cost with your train ticket, providing a fantastic value day out.

There’s plenty to see too, with children’s entertainment and face painting, as well as the gardens, museum and, of course, steam engines and carriages from a bygone era

Parking is free at Buckfastleigh station, while the SDR’s station at Totnes is about 450m from the mainline station.
