KINGSTEIGNTON’S Rydon Primary School has been ranked as one of the highest performing schools in the region.

Rebecca Clark, regional schools commissioner for South West England, wrote to headteacher Nick Banwell congratulating the school on its provisional Key Stage 2 results and praised the school’s work.

Mr Banwell said: ‘We are delighted with this official recognition of all the hard work and effort of our staff and children.’
