St Mary’s Catholic Primary School, Buckfast, held its annual Easter Bonnet Parade.
‘All of the pupils in the school, including members of our toddlers’ group, had a chance to share their fantastic Easter creations with the whole school community,’ said headteacher Nicola Slack.
Pupils had made the hats during the week, ready to wear for the end of term celebration.
Alison Gagg, from Buckfast Abbey’s education department, judged the competition which was very difficult to do this year as the standard was particularly high, she said.
In the end she managed to choose four winners from across the school who received a prize for their efforts.
The winning quartet – pictured with Alison Gagg – are, from left, Winnie Ewart, Natalie McCandless, Stephen Hatch and Evan Kibby.
