Pupils at St Mary’s Catholic Primary School finished term for the Easter holidays with their annual Easter bonnet parade.
Nicola Slack, headteacher of the Buckfast school, said: ‘All of the pupils in the school, including members of our toddlers group, had a chance to share their fantastic Easter creations with the whole school community.
‘Pupils had made the hats during the week, ready to wear for the end of term celebration.
‘Alison Gagg and Anna Harris from Buckfast Abbey Education Department judged the competition which was very difficult to do this year as the standard was particularly high.
‘In the end they managed to chose four winners from across the school who received a prize for their efforts.’
