A BOVEY Tracey man caught speeding three times on the A38 has been banned and fined.
Frederick William Sellwood, aged 28, of Priory, Bovey Tracey, changed his plea to guilty of driving a Volkswagen Transporter at more than 50mph in a temporary speed restriction on the A38 near Chudleigh on March 23 of last year.
He was fined £166 and his driving licence endorsed with three penalty points
He also changed his plea to guilty to a similar charge on April 13 of last year. For this he was fined £333 and ordered to pay £150 costs to the Crown Prosecution Service and £34 to fund victim services.
He was banned from driving for six months after he received five penalty points.
South and West Devon Magistrates' Court said: ‘Disqualification was obligatory due to repeat offending.’
For a further similar charge on April 21 he was fined £166 and his licence endorsed with three penalty points.
