A WOMAN who was over the limit at Tesco filling station in Newton Abbot has been banned for 17 months.
Charlotte Mair, aged 33, of East Street, Newton Abbot, pleaded guilty to drink-driving in a Suzuki Jimny at the filling station on January 14. She gave a reading of 61 mcgs of alcohol in 100 mls ofbreath. The legal limit is 35 mcgs.
South and West Devon Magistrates' Court told Mair that the ban could be reduced by 17 weeks if she completes a course.
She was fined £120 and ordered to pay £85 costs to the Crown Prosecution Service and £48 to fund victim services.
