A TEIGNBRIDGE charity is once again preparing Christmas hampers for the less fortunate as it seeks donations.
Homeless in Teignbridge Support (HITS) is busy putting together its festive hampers ahead of the big day on December 25.
Last year, HITS gave Teignbridge District Council 45 hampers, which the authority handed out to families in Albany House and Luscombe, as well as rough sleepers who are in temporary accommodation.
In total, the charity provided more than 500 hampers to people across Teignbridge, and it is looking to do the same in 2024.
HITS are looking for food and drink donations - tinned meat meals, boxes of biscuits, Christmas pudding and cakes, selection boxes, chocolate bars, luxury breakfast cereals and drinking chocolate.
All donations can be dropped off at the food bank at Abbrook House in Kingsteignton, TQ12 3PS.
