A DOMESTIC violence protection order has been imposed on a Dawlish man

Benjamin Adam Myers, aged 31, of Old Town Street, had been served with a domestic violence protection notice by a police officer on April 30.

An application was made to South and West Devon Magistrates' Court for a domestic violence protection order and this was granted for 28 days.

The court ordered that Myers must not molest the woman named in the order and should not use or threaten to use violence against her.

He cannot have any contact, direct or indirect, with her. He was also prohibited from entering an address in Dawlish save on one occasion accompanied by a police officer to collect personal belongings.
