BUS users are warned about upcoming disruption to services as a key road through Ashburton closes next week.

West Street will be closed from March 10 until March 24 for gas works.

As a result, no buses will be able to serve any bus stop in the town centre.

For services 38 and 88, passengers will need to use either East End Terrace or Peartree Cross.

No stops in between the two above-mentioned will be served throughout the duration of the work.

Service 898 will be suspended during the works.

Devon County Council have organised for a replacement taxi service to operate between Balland Park, Ashburton Town Hall and Westabrook Avenue, which will be operated by Marathon Taxis Limited.
