TEIGNBRIDGE seems to be the hub of cycling this summer with the Tour of Britain passing through, and now another biking event has been announced.

Newton Abbot is to host the start of the Devon Delight on July 17.

For the past 23 years the 100km ride has taken riders through some of the most beautiful parts of Devon, traversing the coastline to Exeter, before turning inland to Thorverton and Stoke Canon, and returning over the hills around Tedburn St Mary and into the Teign Valley.

Some of the money raised during the event will be donated to Rowcroft Hospice.
