RECYCLING collections in parts of Teignbridge could be delayed as some smaller collection vehicles are off the road. 

Teignbridge Council has announced that some of the vehicles are currently awaiting repairs.

The authority says anyone who has collections using these smaller vehicles and their collection is missed this week, efforts will be made to pick up additional recycling next week to compensate.

Anyone who is unable to store their recycling for another week, is asked to use a local recycling bank. 

A council spokesman said: ‘We are sorry for any inconvenience.’
