Dawlish Town Council will be marking Ukraine Independence Day on Saturday (August 24) to reflect on hopes for peace in the war-torn region and to celebrate Ukraine’s bravery and resilience in the face of Russia’s aggression.

Flags will be raised at 9:30am at the Dawlish Piazza.

Ukraine Independence Day commemorates the country’s Declaration of Independence of 1991.
