A pub in Dawlish will remember former manager Emma Hufton this weekend with a family fundraising event for Macmillan Cancer Support.

The event, at the Lansdowne, starts at 9am on August 31 with the music starting from midday.

Emma Hufton died from cancer on August 7 2022. The charity day, in her memory, includes a hog roast, Punch and Judy, singers, magicians and ice cream from the Local Scoop.

Last year, the pub raised nearly £10,000 from its fundraiser in memory of Emma from donations and sponsorship from local and national companies including Tolchards, Competition Fox, Lady’s Mile and Studio Beauty.
