DAWLISH College is about the launch its own community garden project.

The college in Elm Grove Road will be opening the doors to its new garden space and welcoming the public for two days in April.

Teaching staff will be on hand to show visitors around the garden and share their future plans for the space.

The garden will be open on Thursday April 10 between 10.30am and 1.30pm and on Friday April 11 between the same times.

There will be cooking demonstrations on how to use home grown vegetables.

On Friday April 11, there will be free expert energy saving advice and on the Thursday, Citizens Advice will be offering a drop-in service.

Light refreshments will also be available.
