Entrepreneurs in and around Dawlish will be able to learn more about everything from strategy and marketing to social media and search engine optimisation in the new year with the launch of the Dawlish Chamber Small Business Academy.

The Chamber is currently surveying members about the type of content they would like to cover in the seminars, which will run from the Dawlish Work Hub.

‘Around 85% of SMEs in the southwest have no business strategy and around 80% don’t analyse their own data,’ said Dawlish Chamber of Trade chair Colin Jolliffe. The Chamber has received funding from Devon County Council to run the seminars, which will run alongside a small business academy and start up business incubator at the Dawlish Work Hub.
