THE Big Lunch comes to Newton Abbot today, Sunday, as the town continues its Coronation celebrations with the ‘Party in the Park’.

Courtenay Park is to host the event from 12pm until 4pm.

The family friendly event will feature much in the way of festive fun: live music with the SW Comms Band; a cocktail bar; magical bubbles and balloon modelling and much else besides.

You can try your hand at crafts with Creative Newton Abbot.

Those looking to attend are encouraged to bring their own picnic.

Neighbours and communities are invited to share food and fun together as part of the Coronation Big Lunch.
