LAST weekend was a busy one for Newton Abbot Police’s neighbourhood team.

Their duties include safeguarding visits, engaging with local businesses, policing anti-social behaviour hotspots, attending RTC’s and arresting shoplifters.

A spokesman for Newton Abbot Police said: ‘We even had time to meet this lovely cat who can be our very own “claw enforcement officer”.
