BRADLEY Community Centre in Bradley Barton, Newton Abbot, had a defibrillator installed on its building in August thanks to funds received from Devon County Councillor Phil Bullivant and Persimmon Homes Community Champion Programme.

Bernard Saunders, chairman of Bradley Community Association, which heads up the centre, said: ‘It is fantastic to have the defibrillator because there is no defibrillator on the left hand side on Ashburton Road - the nearest one to here is Highweek Inn or Newton’s Place.

Louise Clark, sales adviser at Persimmon Homes, said: ‘We do a lot for the local communities on different sites that we are located at which is really nice.

‘I am a local girl so it is nice to be on a site close to home.’
