POLICE are appealing for information following several church break-ins around Newton Abbot.

The most recent incident occurred at around 2.15pm on Sunday 4 October at the Holy Trinity Church in Torbryan whereby money was stolen from the donation box.

Between Saturday September 12 and October 22, another incident occurred at a disused church in West Ogwell.

An unknown suspect has entered the church and attempted to remove part of the organ causing damage.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have been in the area at the time and witnessed anyone acting suspiciously.

Police would particularly like to speak to the man pictured because he may have vital information about the incident.
