Exeter Chiefs star Jack Nowell has put his shirt on a village’s Boxing Day duck race.
The flying winger has signed his British Lions shirt which will be auctioned off at the end of the annual race in Ide tomorrow.
The red shirt has been framed and the bidding for the prized Lions kit is expected to be fierce.
More than 1,300 plastic ducks will be tackling the water course which sees the finishing line at the Huntsman Inn pub.
Ide Cricket Club organises the Boxing Day festivities.
A club spokesman said: ‘We are thrilled to get hold of Jack’s British Lions shirt. It has been signed by him and it looks great in the frame.
‘But thanks to some of our sponsors like Radmore and Tucker and the Exeter Brewery, there are loads of other prizes in the raffle draw which will be up for grabs.
‘After Christmas Day, this is a great way of families getting out in the fresh air on Boxing Day and blowing away the cobwebs.
‘Every year, whatever the weather, the crowds get bigger and bigger and people come from further away.
The Great Ide Duck Race will start at 11am tomorrow.
