A TEIGNMOUTH-based sea shanty crew are working on new material ahead of their performance for His Majesty, King Charles III's Coronation.

The Back Beach Boyz, who are set to perform in Kingsteignton on May 6 as a part of the town's Coronation celebrations, have been spotted, or rather heard, working on a couple of new belters at a recent rehearsal.

Performing at charity events throughout the year, the Back Beach Boyz, who have been going strong for more than ten years, debuted the new material at The Old Workshop.

Perhaps the new material will get an airing at their gig on May 6 for the Coronation, perhaps not - one must, as the saying goes, wait and see!
