MORE than £2300 was raised for Children’s Hospice South West at this year’s Newton Abbot Charity Town Ball held earlier this month at The Passage House Inn.
“Children’s Hospice South West was our chosen charity for this year and thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, those donating to the auction and raffle and our guests, we were able to raise such a fantastic amount,” said Sue Davie, chair of the organising committee.
Founder and president of the town ball, Keith Stokes-Smith, welcomed Newton Abbot MP Martin Wrigley as well as Newton Abbot mayor Cllr Alex Hall and mayoress, Jane Murden to the event .
“We have supported Children’s Hospice South West in the past and were very pleased to do so again,’ said Keith.
