OFFICERS of the Court Leet and Court Baron of the Manorial Borough of Newton Abbot and the Mayor, Cllr Carol Bunday, and her Consort Cllr Mike Hocking celebrated St George’s Day at the Lych Gates of St Mary’s Church Wolborough, Newton Abbot.

Poems and readings of the day were read by all the Courts which are keeping up the traditions of celebrating St George’s Day, the Patron Saint of England.
