At 8.10pm on October 20, 2010 (20:10, 20/10, 2010) Dawlish and Starcross District Guides joined thousands of girls and women across the country as they launched the next 100 years of Guiding.

The Vision party at St Gregory's Church, Dawlish, was one of hundreds that took place at the same time throughout the UK, including one at Newton Abbot. The event invited Girlguiding UK members to reflect on the centenary year and its celebrations, and share their vision for the future.

Around 200 people attended the Dawlish event. Rainbows, Brownies, Guides and Senior Section paraded into church wearing uniforms from throughout the last 100 years.
