THESE charming pictures come from Canada Hill School and show their Nativity.
EYFS teacher Matthew Bealey said: ‘We were very excited to put on a live Christmas show for the first time since 2019 as a result of the pandemic.
'The last two years we had filmed the performances, each class in their own “bubble”, to share with parents on our online learning platform.
‘There was a real buzz around the school as we came together to celebrate the festive season.
'The show was called Christmas Counts and had a strong numerical theme - the children loved singing the catchy songs and did so with gusto!
‘The very youngest children in the school were sheep and angels and were met with rapturous applause.
'We received so much positive feedback from parents and grandparents, many of whom were fighting back tears after seeing their little ones perform on stage for the first time.
‘Staff have said how putting on a nativity play with an actual audience feels like the last bit of normality returning to school after Covid.
‘We wish you all a Happy Christmas!’
