SWITCHED on... players in the broadband business gather at Haytor on Dartmoor to mark a new era of super communications in remote beauty spots.
They say the introduction of a ‘low impact, high connectivity’ wireless network will be a game-changer for the national park and its near-neighbour Exmoor.
Movers and shakers in the new initiative, rolled out last Friday, are (from left) Cllr David Hall, Mel Stride MP, Minister of State for Digital and Culture Matt Hancock, Cllr Andrew Leadbetter, Dartmoor National Park chief executive Kevin Bishop, Airband managing director Redmond Peel, Cllr Karen Mills, Cllr Martin Dewdney and Airband project manager Dan James.
