TEIGNMOUTH and Shaldon 1st XI welcomed Barton 1st XI to the Hazeldown Oval in last Saturday’s Devon Cricket League B Division clash.

Winning the toss Barton, currently sitting just off the top spot on the table, elected to field with Teignmouth and Shaldon putting up 188 all out after 42.1 overs.

However, after tea  Barton fell prey to some tenacious bowling and fielding from T&S resulting in the visitors being all out for 126 runs after 35.4 overs giving the homeside a 62 run win.
