A BIKER has been taken to hospital following a collision near Newton Abbot.
Police were called to reports of a collision between a car and a motorcycle near Penn Inn roundabout just after 8am on Tuesday, January 14.
The female motorcycle rider was taken to hospital.
Her injuries are not considered life-changing or life-threatening, Devon and Cornwall Police have said.
Roads leading to the junction became congested, with traffic tailing back along the South Devon Expressway for several miles.
The southbound section of the road was closed for around an hour before reopening just before 10am.
