POLICE are reminding people to be aware of any suspicious activity following reports of deer poaching near Mamhead.
Devon and Cornwall Police received reports of deer poaching in the Mamhead and Black Forest areas over the past week.
Deer were left injured after the incidents, police say.
‘If you think poaching is ongoing please call 999 and give location and details of any incidents and stay safe’ a spokesman for Devon and Cornwall Police said.
‘If there is no immediate risk, please record details of any activity or vehicles (with registrations if safe to get) and note their locations and report these via 101 or our website at Report a crime | Devon & Cornwall Police and quote occurrence number 50250073240 for attention of our Rural Crime Team’ the spokesman added.
